New Kids on the Block are back after a four-year hiatus with the new Thankful EP that’s due out in May and its first single, “One More Night,” suggests the group will be sticking around for a little longer than that.
In a new music video — which premiered exclusively with Billboard — Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood all spend some serious time pining before its time to get to business and hit the stage.
In this instance, as the iconic quintet sings the longing pop track, it seems what its members missed most of all were the bright lights and audience’s affection.
New Kids on the Block (NKOTB) the massive boy band from Boston, Massachusetts currently consists of brothers Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg (Actor Mark Walberg’s brother), and Danny Wood. New Kids on the Block enjoyed success in the late 1980s and early 1990s and have sold more than 80 million records worldwide. They won two American Music Awards in 1990 for Favorite Pop/Rock Band, Duo, or Group and Favorite Pop/Rock Album. The group disbanded in 1994, after which several attempts were made to get the group back together, all of them unsuccessful until a few years back.
