YoungBoy Never Broke Again – Astronaut Kid

When it came time to shoot a music video for his Until Death Call My Name highlight, “Astronaut Kid,” there was only one logical direction he could take: YoungBoy Never Broke Again was heading to space.

Writing a song that references meteorites, UFOs, and rockets, the 18-year-old rapper set himself up for the chance to zip into a spacesuit and launch himself away from Earth.

YoungBoy has had a busy 2018. In April, he released his debut studio album Until Death Call My Name, featuring Future and Birdman. A month later, he returned with an eight-song project called Master the Day of Judgement. Then, just a few weeks back, he dropped a revamped Until Death Call My Name (Reloaded) project that featured additional collaborations with Lil Uzi Vert and Offset.

All of this new music has arrived in the midst of a complicated legal situation for the Baton Rouge rapper. He faces allegations of violence after being indicted in March for aggravated assault and kidnapping. He also still faces complications following a 2016 arrest in Austin for his alleged involvement in a drive-by shooting, as well video evidence that he allegedly attacked his girlfriend Jania Jackson. For a full breakdown of his legal matters, watch the video below. You can see the “Astronaut Kid” video at the top of the page.
