Elle Fanning stars in a new musical drama called Teen Spirit, the directorial debut of The Handmaid’s Tale actor Max Minghella. The movie follows Fanning’s character, Violet, as she competes in an international singing competition.
Teen Spirit will also feature a new song called “Wildflowers,” which is performed by Fanning, written by Carly Rae Jepsen, and produced by Bleachers’ Jack Antonoff. Fanning will perform music by Grimes, Ariana Grande, Tegan and Sara, No Doubt, Annie Lennox, and others as well.
The film is out spring 2019.
