The Strokes – “Threat of Joy”

Last month, New York City rock pioneers the Strokes made their surprise return to the scene with Future Present Past, a brief EP that preempted their headlining slot at the city’s Governors Ball music festival. Today, the band’s back again with the “Threat of Joy” music video (premiered by Noisey), directed by Warren Fu and featuring the gang in a high-stakes caper in which footage of another video is stolen (and the director kidnapped). According to a release, it’s the first time all of them have been in a video together in five years. Watch below.
