Official Music Video for Neil Young + Promise of the Real’s protest song “Children of Destiny.”
Neil Young has teamed with Promise of the Real (the band featuring Willie Nelson’s son Lukas) for a new song and video, “Children of Destiny.” The politically charged clip interpolates footage from the Women’s March and accompanies lyrics like, “Stand up for what you believe/Resist the powers that be.” It also features a 56 piece orchestra.
Neil Young’s last albums with Promise of the Real were 2015’s The Monsanto Years and last year’s EARTH. “Children of Destiny” is Neil Young’s first new song since 2016’s Peace Trail.
