Maroon 5 premiered the music video for their new single “Wait” on Vevo on Wednesday (Jan. 17) after it was featured on Spotify’s “Today’s Top Hits” playlist the day before.
The band took an unconventional approach for the video, which features lead singer Adam Levine switching between various Snapchat face filters while singing along to “Wait” using the front-facing camera on his phone.
Levine filmed the short videos on the Snapchat app around his home, with cameos from his wife Victoria’s Secret Angel Behati Prinsloo and their dog. The frontman had previously hinted at the video’s premiere and style on his Instagram account on Saturday (Jan. 13).
