Kygo – Stranger Things ft. OneRepublic

Kygo may be from Norway, but he can bring the all-American vibes with the best of them. “Stranger Things,” with Colorado’s own OneRepublic, taps into some Bruce Springsteen vibes with strumming guitars, underground narratives and a pushing voice, but its in the official video’s narrative that the red-blooded young lovers’ story really comes to life.

Between shifts at the diner or mechanic’s office, we watch our star-crossed sweethearts drink beers in chained-fence yards and make out in their underwear. Life can be hell, but it’s only heaven when they’re together. Of course, there’s got to be a twist, right? Not that we’re giving it away…

“Stranger Things” is the second single and title track from Kygo’s second album. The LP debuted at No. 1 on the Top Dance/Electronic Albarms chart in November. It’s a solid, uplifting selection.
