Jack White is back with Connected By Love from new album ‘Boarding House Reach’!
“In December, White previewed new music in a bizarre teaser video for his next album. White has now revealed that his new album is titled ‘Boarding House Reach’ and that it was recorded in New York City, Los Angeles and Nashville. It’s the first time White has recorded an album in NYC or LA, and features a brand new group of musicians. A release date is not yet known.
Of ‘Connected By Love’, White has told Rolling Stone: “I just started humming notes out loud, staring out the window. After that, you really can’t explain it. You just have to get out of the way and let it happen. And you don’t really notice it as it’s happening.”
White explained that he first thought the song was “maybe some old melody I’m copying from some old song from 40 years ago, subconsciously – those are all the perils of trying to, you know, bring something new into the universe.” (via NME)
