  KTRK reporter Steve Champion helped rescue a man trapped in high water on live TV. Storms dumped more than a foot of rain in the Houston area, flooding dozens of neighborhoods and forcing the closure of city offices and the suspension of public transit. This amazing footage was recorded and spread on the Associated Press YouTube channel.
