Colombians Felipe Péláez and Maluma meet for the second time after having recorded together in 2014 for the album “Tiempo Perfecto”, reunite 3 years later with a latin/ reggaeton hit “Vivo pensando en ti” (I live thinking of you).
The song was born in the middle of a creative workshop in Miami between Felipe Peláez, his accordionist Manuel Julián and Andrés Castro, renowned musical producer. The original version was created thinking of something fresh, a Latin and crossover with the essence of “The Super Banda”, who brought all the native flavor of ‘Vallenato’ to the song. The composition and production were by Andrés Castro, Felipe Peláez and Manuel Julián, was mixed by Mexican Luis Barrera, who has worked with artists such as Ricky Martin, Shakira, Thalía, Carlos Vives, among others and mastered by the Italian Antonio Baglio.
The lyrics are described by Péláez as “a beautiful story with which most people in the world will be able to identify, because it speaks of when the feeling of friendship transcends something else and a declaration of love between friends is born.”
