The Marcus Haney-directed video was filmed this April in Mexico City during the band’s sold-out Latin American tour. The video opens with a sample of Charlie Chaplin’s magnanimous speech from ‘The Great Dictator’, a scene employed by Coldplay at the start of their recent concerts that has seen a viral resurgence in recent months as a result of Donald Trump’s polarizing rhetoric.
