It’s not a game anymore. The BBC announced the return of the hugely popular Sherlock series 4 – coming 1st January 2017.
The trailer starts off with more glitchy footage of Moriarty, similar to the end of series three. “Did you miss me?” We sure did, but we’re not sure Sherlock feels the same way.
“Something is coming… maybe it’s Moriarty, maybe it isn’t” says Sherlock, apparently not totally against the idea of his arch-nemesis somehow returning. Throughout the trailer we see shots of hospital staff wheeling out a body, is this just a red herring though?
We see plenty of Toby Jones, promising “endless fun”, although Sherlock isn’t so keen on the “endless” part. Is this a hint series four is the end?
“Get out of my house, you reptile!” Mrs. Hudson delivers a scathing put-down to Mycroft, but what has he done to deserve such venom?
“This isn’t a game!” Molly twisting the classic Holmes catchphrase on its head and adding to the sense of fear (for us at least) not everyone is going to make it out of these upcoming episodes alive.
