After dropping her latest single “Fetish” a few weeks back, Selena Gomez has come through with a sultry music video to accompany the Gucci Mane-featuring track. She’s been teasing hazy clips and images that harken back to the official audio clip for weeks, and now the visuals have arrived.
In the sun-filled “Fetish” we find Selena milling about the suburbs, causing a minor ruckus in a quaint, 70s-inspired home, with Gucci Mane making a hazy appearance towards the end. The video was directed by Petra Collins, a New York-based artist and curator who has shot recent campaigns for Gucci, Vans, and Urban Outfitters.
The trap-influenced song was first teased at the end of the music video for “Bad Liar,” Gomez’s previous single, which might be about The Weeknd, and one of our Best Tracks of 2017 so far. Both tracks will feature on her forthcoming album SG2, due sometime this year.
