YOUTH has arrived, the second song from the new Glass Animals album “How To Be a Human Being” out on 26th August.
The narrative video is set in the same dinner and motel as the “Life Itself” clip. It features the same waitress as that video as well as a young dancing boy, perhaps we are seeing a storyline developing…
“Someone told me a story about her son once that was one of the saddest things I’ve ever heard. What she said was completely heartbreaking, but she told it with such optimism and such a sense of calm. She was on the verge of crying, but she was also smiling and something in her face said that she had found a way to be happy again. This song is trying to get at that sentiment.”
Indie rock band Glass Animals are from Oxford in the U.K. The group released their debut album Zaba in June 2014 as the first release on Adele’s producer Paul Epworth’s label Wolf Tone. The band have toured internationally and featured on line ups at festivals such as Glastonbury, Coachella, and Lollapalooza.
