Camila Cabello’s music video for “Havana” featuring Young Thug, is a mini movie. You’ll also recognize some famous faces within the multiple story-lines.
The 20-year-old songstress enlisted the help of social media stars Lele Pons and LeJuan James, and actor Noah Centineo.
We see the singer falling in love with telenovelas and has her sister Bella, played by Pons, make fun of her for it. While Bella decides to go out, Cabello’s grandmother, played by James, urges her to live her own life instead of staying in and watching romantic movies.
In the end, Cabello decides to venture off by herself and catches the film Camila in Havana. That’s when Camila, in the movie, gives us the most epic dance performance while Young Thug is on the mic in a dance club that looks like something out of Cuba. After the movie, Camila realizes that she needs to write her own stories instead of living through those in movies and telenovelas. And guess what? She does.
The 21-year-old actress shared a photo of herself with Cabello and captioned it, “My heart is in Havana LATINA POWER @camila_cabello.”
James also took to Instagram to thank the Cuban singer, “What an amazing music video! So very grateful for the opportunity!Thank you so much @camila_cabello!”
In the end of the video, it says, “This is dedicated to the dreamers.”
